Today we’re going to talk about goals and why you should be setting them.
Lately, have you been feeling a bit lost?
Going through the motions of the day?. Get the kids up, get them fed and ready for school. Clean the house, get groceries, and start dinner. Before you know it, it’s time for bed and you’re sitting down once again in front the of the tv. Another day has gone, and really another day wasted.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying our kids or our motherhood is a waste of time, of course, we love our family and most days we love our job as Mom.
What I’m getting at is that our time is wasted. The time spent scrolling through Facebook, the time we spend watching tv, or as much as I hate to admit it, the catnap I took during my youngest’s nap time if we’re being honest, is all time wasted.
There are so many things I want to do with my life but I’m not getting any closer to those accomplishments because I haven’t set any goals and I haven’t made any plans on how I’m going to accomplish those.
It was something I was too busy to read and tossed it aside.
A few months ago I was going through my bookshelf and it caught my eye. I decided to sit down and started paging through it.
It’s an aspiring book that really drives home, that there is no better time than right now to start working towards your goals. It leaves you spaces to journal your goals and how you are going to achieve them.
If you’re needing some extra motivation and guidance I highly recommend ordering it.
I know setting goals can be easy but actually putting them into motion can be tricky.
I had a goal of starting a blog. But it was so much more than that. I’m talking hours upon hours of work put into it. I had to make a plan on how I was going to make that happen.
In order to keep me on track, I created a Goal board with these printables.
